Missing the opening 2 or 3 matches

I synced Walsalls fixtures for the coming season with my Google calendar, only to find out I will miss the opening two, possibly three matches of the season.

Due to on-call duty at work, I have to wait until July 25th to get my vacation, and I plan to spend more than half of my 23 days of holiday away from home without a computer.

Music festival with friends

For the season premiere against Hartlepool, I will be away at a music festival with some friends. I know it will be a great weekend because I will watch a few good metal bands like W.A.S.P, The Hellacopters, Graveyard and others. If you haven’t listened to the Swedish rock band Graveyard, you should look them up on Spotify.

Schedule of the performing acts
The schedule for the music festival. I’m there on Saturday (Lördag) and will see the bands to the right.

Spend time in the mountains

I will also spend some time up in the mountain at my cabin. Because of this, I will miss the away match against Newport County on Saturday, July 6th, and possibly the League Cup game against Swindon Town on the evening of Tuesday, July 9th.

I love to be up at my cabin because that is one of the few places I can recharge with energy, let off all stress and just be me. The downside is that it’s a 4-5 hour drive. Hopefully, the weather will be good enough to make it possible to hike up in the mountains for a few hours.

The Cabin in the Mountains
the cabin that my grandfather built and that my brother, sister and I inherited.

At times, I think it is essential to living without modern comforts and just become one with nature. In any case, it helps me to unwind, release stress and get some energy back. Of course, many get stressed from being in places with total silence. It does not suit everyone, but for me, it fits perfectly even if I miss a few football matches.
