What to expect from the first match?

In a short while the season kicks off and what should I expect from this season opener?
First of all, I want to hear some noise from our fans when I watch the match on iFollow Walsall. We are usually very loud at away games. With over 1400 tickets sold, we should be able to be even louder than we use to be.
From the match, I want to see Walsall players who dare to express them self, be positive on the ball and try to get forward. I like to see proper delivery to our strikers, and I want to see the whole team work hard and based on the players Darrell Clarke have brought in I have no doubt they will work their socks off today.

We all live in a bubble of positivity now, and I hope we keep building the feel-good atmosphere that surrounds the club at the moment.
I will be happy with a draw and ecstatic if we take home all three points.

My prediction: a hard-fought draw, 1-1.
